Well that was fun! I wasn't quite ready to come home...It might be kind of cheesy to give you the play by play but it was so fabulous. And right from the start too :)
Nanton is so lovely. Ladies, please stop in to the Main Street Cafe if you are ever passing Nanton, you will love it. (There's cool shopping too ~ thrift shop right accross the street - don't miss the boots down stairs!)
The weather was gorgeous, we kept hearing about the snow but managed to avoid it. The van was attacked by a hazel nut tree in Nelson and we carried 2 of the little guys all the way home. We took a bit of a detour for some camping near fairmont and almost drove off a mountain, but the view was so worth it.
We thought we would have time to meander a little more but we found out quickly that you've mostly enough time to get your coffee and get going...We didn't mind :) Velvet Olive in Red Deer is awesome :) There were people at our shows! Not sure I was really expecting that first time out :) Thank you for coming!!!!
Some beautiful folks put us up here and there, Ted :), Mary Ellen!, The Maclean Crew XOXO and Mike's 'Lady Friend' . The van was pretty comfy the rest of the time :) I called home from Creston and when he asked what I was doing I said well, I just took a swim and hot shower, I'm playing some guitar under a plum tree and it's +30. I think I'll go for an ice cream :)
I was in awe of the folks out there who came and listened and the fabulous venues that offered us a place to play. The Stop in Black Diamond! So wonderful!

I met alot of people from Scotland, something is up with that :) I met a lot of animals too... (no correlation intended) Katie, Buckley, everywhere we went. That was fun too.
